I have done this program, i do it every year for lacrosse. key is only do big muscle excersies. so for chest do barbell incline or flat, or dumbell one level up on the incline to get max muscle fiber ripp. and back i do deadlifts barbell or dumbell legs do swats and calf raises and you can do fron should sqats if your legs are killing from dealifts. for the arms shoulder and arms i do a 3 way set that day so lat raises barbell curl and dips wighted. i superset but you dont have to

C'mon Vince where's the tempo and it's super setted like this: A1 = Decline DB Press 10sets 10reps 4-0-2 90sec rest. After the 90 rest do A2 = Chin-Ups 10sets 10 reps 4-0-2 90sec rest and then back to A1. Alternate the exercises over 20 sets. Tempo is the key...!! I've been through this with PICP Level 1 & 2 Coach. Very good results :)

No, you're wrong. You should fail at set 10 with the right weight. And you shouldn't do fail chest flies with GVT. Do compound movements for the 10 set exercises, like flat or incline bench press. And you shouldn't superset GVT. finish 10 sets with one exercise, then do 10 sets of the next. 90 seconds rest for the 10 set exercises. Then 2 complimentary exercises with 3 sets each and 60 seconds rest.

Just had 2 months out of the gym - came back and slammed myself straight in with some GVT. After the leg session I couldnt walk for a few days, but could deal with it. After the chest session i considered hospital - the worst DOMS i have ever experienced. Disgusting.
