DeliciousPoop Says:
1:16 i wonder if he means that his collar bones hurt........... because that's what i have....... collar bone and shoulder pain when i bench......... it is fucking annoying first time i encountered shoulder pain while benching, i switched to decline bench instead of flat for barbell presses and kept the rest of chest work the same (inclines, flies, etc.)........ pain was was gone but after some time of no flat..... it started on decline as well (the pain)......... so i switched back to flat

Your using your shoulders to lift and your chest!

muscule imbalance probably a slap tear
fatty1190 Says:
I think his shoulder hurts because of muscle imbalances.
TheProcrinator Says:
I see your point with his possible breathing problem, but wouldn't the shoulder imbalance rather come from doing to much pressing exercises? because that's a pretty common problem.
cibailumiamak Says:
This guy must be snap his rotator cuff up!!!
TheMrNumeroUno Says:
YO ELLIOT!!!! WHAT ABOUT IF YOU HAVE A GRADE 1-2 AC JOINT INJURY. PLEASE MAKE A VID ON THIS. BEEN OUT 9 MONTHS AND GOING INSANE FROM NOT LIFTING.
abcasd1 Says:
here's a tip for your bench press. when you bench, have your shoulders back as usual, AND do a permanant shrug WHILE benching. :D
Justin Myers Says:
you probably have a shoulder inpingement. That's assuming that you don't have arthritis in which case you could have a bone spur poking your supraspinatus. Learn how to bench correctly. I bet your hands are too wide on the bar and your elbows are at about shoulder level. get your hands shoulder width apart and keep your elbows at about a 30 or 40 degree angle downward. incorporate facepulls into your workout program and see a soft tissue practitioner to work on your shoulder.
TheCeRealKiller17 Says:
And that is why I made damn sure to work the rear delts
rafinofee Says:
my advice: do light exercise for rotator cuff before doing chest press..thats what i always do. before this i always experienced pain in my left shoulder.

The internet is an ocean of information, most of it garbage, some of it good. But it's FREE. Free information is one that should always be taken lightly and further research is left up to the individual. I am not doubting your credentials at all. It's just that it's up to the person taking the information in to dilute it himself and research it further or use it. The person actually GIVING the information for free is in all respects performing a great service, providing a different insight.
Iightbreaker Says:
What is your qualifications? certified personal trainer? my dog is a certified personal trainer, anyone can get it online. What CLINICAL background do you have to give this information. You can be hurting these people instead of helping them. As a THERAPIST its all about the acromioclavicular space and the pinching of the SUPRASPINATUS muscle ( rotator cuff muscle ). Your not qualified to give this kind of answer at all...
corporacionmonstruo Says:
hapened to me in my left shoulder doing serrato-dips(arms stationary and going down & up with the whole body) for my rotator cuff tendynosis of the right shoulder, never recovered so i have 2 ruined shoulders, one with the clavicle external tip pointing up(need a lot of front &lateral raises) and the other with the supratendinosus fucked (need a lot of external rotation & posterior delt work) so i´m completly jealous
TheSamsquamtch Says:
'Ey mayne, I got shoulder pain like a ma'fucka. Not so much in here, but ALL this up in here.
combandpaper283 Says:
He seemed to be pointing to where the short head of the biceps muscle attaches via its tendon to the coracoid process of the scapula, and with the pain radiating down the bicep itself, it sounds like a bicep issue to me.
IvanBarb4 Says:
I strained my AC joint doing bench (twisted shoulder up during lift) my symptoms are exactly like the bloke described...neck, trap, front delt, bi and shoulder blade..all sorts of pain shooting through that shit...cure...do nothing for a few weeks :( at least thats what Im doing..tried working through it, it just got worse.
